Gray Dawn Review
Gray Dawn is another great example of how games can be simple, small, self-contained stories, and still be worth playing. It’s definitely a different speed that not all gamers will appreciate, but if you like walking simulators, I think this one will be enjoyable for you.
This game is more religious than any other game I’ve ever played, and I imagine that will be offensive to some people. Whether you’re religious or not, if you’re able to watch The Exorcist without being offended, you’ll be fine playing this game. Just from a historical perspective, all the artwork and iconography was interesting to look at.
As for the story, it’s a very sad and melancholic tale. There’s a sweetness to it and lighter parts that take a break from the darkness, but it just makes it all the sadder.
It’s very short and you can likely complete it in one sitting (a good thing sometimes). I recommend playing it, but not if you have to pay any more than $15 for it, so add it to your wishlist and wait for a deal!
